The specific action aimed to promote social inclusion and the active participation of young people, through an intercultural project that deals with the critical issue of climate change and waste in particular, following the five principles of the 5 R's: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle . A total of 43 people from 7 non-profit organizations participated in the activity, coming from 7 different countries, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Slovakia. The project enabled participants to collaborate with each other, exchange views and develop innovative ideas to tackle environmental challenges, while strengthening a sense of community and European identity. Program participants will receive a Youth Pass certificate.

The specific project and its results will be discussed and thoroughly analyzed in meetings of the youth group of the Cultural Association Selianitika Ilios with institutional actors of the Municipality and the Region, while the organization of an open public meeting is planned.
